Kathy Cannon

Bio

Kathy loves Jesus, has been married to her college sweetheart for 20+ years, has six (yes, 6) kids, and will gladly spend hours with you to talk about church planting, preaching, multi-ethnic family life, adoption, ministry nerd stuff, coffee, and why everyone should go to therapy. Unfortunately, you’re going to deal with all of those topics in one convo, because she also has ADHD.

Testimonials

Kathy Cannon is a woman of action. Not only has she served as the pastor of a local church and sectional presbyter, she is actively involved in shaping the Northern California and Nevada District for a brighter future. Her greatest “congregation” is her family, which she adores. You may not know her now, but you will. The Bible teaches your gifts will make room for you. Her room will be a large one as she lives her life under the powerful hand of God. I’m privileged to be one of her cheerleaders.
— Dr. Samuel M. Huddleston, NCN Assistant District Superintendent
Whether as a communicator, writer or catalyst for change, Kathy Cannon has a reputation of leadership excellence.

In my role as a university president, it’s been my joy to host Kathy on our campus. She has become a ‘fan favorite’ in our chapel and classrooms at North Central University in Minneapolis. As a communicator, the students and faculty love her content and style. After serving side-by-side professionally for eight years in Sacramento, I have continued to watch her add value and meaning to everyone she meets. Kathy is a top-tier communicator and leader in every sense of the word.
— Scott Hagan, Ph.D., President, North Central Univeristy
Kathy Cannon is an outstanding leader. Her talents and abilities enable her to effectively balance the demand of family, ministry, and service. Kathy is respected and admired by others throughout the Assemblies of God for her leadership capacity, heart for people, and courage to take on new challenges.
— John Jay Wilson, Director of Operations, CMN, Leadership & Church Development, Assemblies of God National Leadership & Resource Center
